We take particular care that our certified translations are calculated and charged on the basis of the volume
of text actually translated (number of characters translated) and not on the basis of printed pages.

Most frequent billing units are:
- Standard page
Standard page (SP) – 1,800 keystrokes (calculated according to the MS Word statistics: number of characters, including spaces, divided by 1800). This standard unit is also used for calculating the volume of certified translations.
- Word
Word – a character or a sequence of characters separated by spaces. The most practical unit used in charging for translations processed by computer-assisted translation (CAT) software.
- Character
Character – a letter, number or any other graphical expression of an idea or term. This unit is used in charging for Asian language translations (Chinese, Japanese or Korean).
